An important trade commodity in ancient India, China, and Egypt, Organic Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil was a staple in the everyday living of many cultures in ancient times.

Modern day Cinnamon Bark Oil is native to Indonesia, but also cultivated in Sri Lanka and India. The rust colored tree has shiny, leather-like green leaves, and small white flowers with oval shaped purple berries. Its unique sweet and spicy scent makes it a great scent for almost any occasion.

Until I know if my dreams come true blending oils and I start making a little profit. Not from a big town. Anyway thanks for being so nice to your customers. If there is a place where I could get bottles in a smaller quantity would you let me know please. Thank you

Blends Great With Citrus & Herbal Oils

Posted by Tom Froehlich on 21st Apr 2017

Before I ordered I was concerned this fragrance would smell too much like cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. Don't get me wrong, I love a good cinnamon roll but I don't need that aroma coming out of my bedroom diffuser. I was wrong. Bulk Apothecary Cinnamon LeafEssential Oil is wonderful. It blends great with anything citrus or herbal and gives it a kind of exotic undertone. This oil is fast becoming one of my most often used oils.

Use it with a carrier oil to treat nail fungus, beginning to show some improvement so I am pleased.

    Fragrant & Did the job

I've had an ant infestation of late. Read that cinnamon knocks out ants olfactory sense which is how they communicate and therefore stops them. It works. I dipped a q-tip into the bottle and drew a line at ant entry point. I've had to repeat the process when they find another entry point, but they have not returned to the same entry point since. I cancelled the exterminator appointment.

    Great cinnamon

Posted by Delainey on 27th Aug 2016

I really like this cinnamon it's not quite as strong as the bark (which is a good thing) imo. If you diffuse it make sure you only put one drop or else it may make your eyes water and irritate your lungs. I made the mistake and added two or three drops to my diffuser and I has to dilute it and add sweet orange to take the sting away,it mixed well with orange and smelled delightful. It's a very potent oil with a very nice scent. I'm glad I chose the organic cinnamon leaf instead of the cinnamon bark. I also used it to flavor something (which BA does NOT recommend,it's for external use only), I feel I needed to say that cuz they were strongly against it in this way.Anyhow it had great flavor, not overpowering but make sure you use glass. I used a plastic container to mix it (knowing better),let it set for a bit, anyhow the oil started to eat the plastic. So make sure to use glass. Great organic cinnamon leaf oil.

    Not overpowering, just right!

Posted by Delainey on 24th Aug 2016

First of all I must say I know this is not food grade oil. I did use this to flavor my toothpowder and it did a wonderful job. I love the fragrance in the diffuser. This cinnamon leaf oil is an all around good oil. Although it is not recommended for internal use I did use it for toothpowder(organic). I found paired with sweet orange it was just perfect. You must definitely use a glass container and wooden mixing utensils. I made the mistake of mixing the oil in a plastic container and it ate the plastic. Make sure you only use glass, ceramics or wood for mixing. It will eat plastic and take on a plastic taste and smell unless it's already quite diluted in whatever you're using it for. Thank-you Bulk Apothecary.
