I love the smell of the cinnamon leaf, has the smell of cinnamon not overpowering. Mixes well with other fall scents. Have used it in lotions and chapsticks and cleaning supplies.

It is very potent, a little goes a long way. If used in soapmaking, it will cause your soap to super heat and congeal, so be careful. It doesn't smell like cinnamon spice, but has a more earthy and alcohol scent.

Not what I anticipated, but still nice

Posted by Hannah on 4th Dec 2017

This was my first time purchasing this oil, and I took a shot in the dark as to which type I should purchase. From the description, I had anticipated more clove notes, and a warmer scent. It was grassier and lighter than anticipated. I used more than I had expected, trying to build a richer, deeper scent. I think I will purchase the other Cinnamon option and compare.

    Strong + cloying

Posted by Robert Laffin on 9th Nov 2017

There is nothing wrong with the quality of this EO, but it is a super strong scent and is nothing like the spice cinnamon. Instead it is strong and sharp smelling - like the pot pourri packets in dept stores. I couldn't get the smell off my hands in three washings. If I had to guess, I would have thought it was a synthetic fragrance. Evidently it is natural, but it is not for me! Be sure this is what you are looking for before ordering this one.

This is a really nice cinnamon. Smells so natural and herbaceous. A little bit goes a long way. I could use about a third of this in comparison to other EOs.

First time purchasing this scent and I love the memories of home this scent evokes. It is a great welcome home scent to use as air freshener or in candles.

pleased with first order ever of EO's

Posted by david rodriquez on 10th Jan 2017

Order came within 3 days. Order was filled exactly. Items were packed very well, nothing leaked. All 5 oils passed the white paper drop test and did not feel overly oily to touch. As of now I would order from BA again. NOTE: cinnamon leaf oil does not smell like cinnamon. It smells like cloves! That's the way it was described. If you want the cinnamon smell you need cinnamon bark. This isn't a complaint in any way, I just assumed it would smell like cinnamon due to the name. I know that I may return it but it has many uses in blends that I will be using it for. I'll just order cinnamon bark for my diffuser
