Intro: WW-4 wicks are 5/8″ wide and roughly 5″ long, meant for medium-large containers (around 3–3.5″ diameter). They produce a strong flame with a pronounced crackling sound, making them excellent for large mason jars, pillar-like container candles, or any candle where you want a vivid flame. As a Soy Wax series wick, WW-4 is built slightly thicker to excel in soy wax candles – it helps maintain a consistent burn in pure soy, which can be a difficult-to-burn wax. This wick bridges the gap between medium and large candles, giving you reliable performance across various wax types.

• Bolder Crackle: Enjoy a more pronounced crackling fireplace effect. WW-4’s larger flame emits that comforting, audible crackle that adds character to any room.

• For Larger Jars: Best used in candles about 3 to 3.5 inches in diameter. It’s a go-to wick for larger tumblers or wide jar candles, ensuring the melt pool reaches edges for an even burn.

• All-Wax Compatibility: Performs well in soy wax (its specialty), as well as paraffin, palm, or soy/paraffin blends – truly versatile for different candle formulations.

• Minimal Soot: Burns clean with almost no soot or smoking when properly trimmed. There’s no mushrooming, and very little char debris falls into the wax.

• Easy to Use: The stiff wooden strip and universal clip make setup simple. There’s no need to straighten or tension the wick during pouring – it stays put and upright on its own.

Usage Instructions:

1. Setup: Insert the WW-4 wick into the metal wick clip (sold separately) and center it in your container. Use a generous glue dot or melted wax to fix the clip at the jar’s bottom. This wider 5/8″ wick will stand firm with the clip’s support.

2. Pour Candle: Pour in your melted wax carefully. Because WW-4 is a larger wick, ensure it stays centered – you can use a wick holder or stick across the jar if needed, but generally the wooden wick won’t bend. Let the candle cool completely.

3. Trim to 1/8″: Snip or gently break off the burnt tip of the wick so that about 1/8″ of fresh wood is above the wax before lighting. Keeping the wick short like this controls the flame height for safety.

4. Burn: Light the wick and revel in the stronger flame and crackle. Allow a full melt pool to form (which WW-4 wicks achieve relatively quickly thanks to their wide flame). After extinguishing, trim the charred part again to prepare for the next burn.
