I ordered lavender and rose petals as well as calendula petals. The products I received were well packaged, delivered quickly and were top quality.

Wow, 4 ounces yields a lotta petals! Perhaps 3 cups worth or so. Very generous. And what a great price!
I ordered the Lavender "Extra" and so, at this point cannot comment on the "Surcroix" or "Super" lavender petals.
Anyway, the petals are very aromatic. They were fairly uniform in a brownish color - not very lavendery or purpley in color. Would be great in an opaque sachet bag, eye pillow, as wedding confetti or anywhere that the color is not important. I though they were not attractive in Melt N Pour soaps. Hopefully the "Super" lavender petals will maintain their color in Melt n Pour.

The Lavender Flowers will vary in aroma, color and stem to flower ratio.
According to the manufacturer, "EXTRA has the most stems and is fainter in color and less floral in aroma, SURCHOIX is moderate in all areas, and SUPER is the most fragrant in aroma, with a greater richness of color and the least amount of stems."
Lavender SUPER has all purple buds. The Lavender Surchoix is 60% purple 40% gray buds. The lavender Extra is about 50/50 gray and purple.

After looking online and at several stores I purchased the super lavender flowers. Great fragrance. Using them in sachet bags for my daughter's wedding.

Other than using the lavender flowers for all the usual uses I spread them in my flower beds to keep cats from using them for litter boxes !!!

Inwas so excited whenever I ordered these. And was so impatient. I couldn't WAIT till they got to my house. Whenever they arrived the box was pretty big for a pound. I was expecting an envelope of some sort. Whenever I opened the boxed I was surprised to see how much I got. The bag is big and there is so much dried lavender in it also and whenever I opened the bag the smell of the lavender was soooo strong. It was amazing. Great buy

I seriously overestimated the weight, was expecting a little bag that would hopefully be enough for a project and got about 5 times what I'd expected. A very pleasant surprise, especially for this price.
