Our premium base lotion is priced slightly higher than our basic lotion base but we can assure you, there is a difference that your customers will notice.

Great Product
I have tried most of the lotion bases offered here - the Stephenson Body butter, natures oil body butter, Stephenson premium lotion, natures oil regular lotion, and the Stephenson regular lotion. This one is the best over all (Natures oil body butter/heavy cream is a close 2nd)! I am currently testing fragrance oils with these lotions to find the base I like best for my product line. This lotion base takes fragrance oils very well (I don’t use essential oils but the fragrance oils have essential oils in them), and the application is the best compared to all the other bases I have tried. The consistency is perfect - it can be pumped or squeezed from a bottle without clogging the spout. It absorbs into the skin well and doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy or heavy. It doesn’t linger on the skin like the Stephenson butter. And the spreadability is awesome - a little goes a long way. The cool thing too is if you want to make a butter from it, you can buy some thickening additives and make it thicker without it compromising the feel or application. If you do that though, use the additives sparingly! This base is already a fully developed lotion system and adding anything, even fragrance, will alter the system. Start in small batches and used .5% of additives at a time. Testing will take forever but it’s worth it when you find the right balance and create a bomb product! Anyway, I’m grateful to this company and how inexpensive all their bases are. It makes testing and getting into body care formulation really accessible! Thanks!

I have tried the regular base and the premium base as well. Premium is better than the standard.

I'm extremely picky with lotions. Most of them leave me feeling greasy, but this lotion absolutely does not! It is luxurious and amazing and takes fragrance oils beautifully. I am extremely happy and will be reordering!
