This is a plastic mold, not a silicon mold. The picture description is what is created after you take it out of the mold. This mold is easy to use. You need to do cold process in order to really use this mold because of the heat hot process will warp the mold. The bars sometimes stick to the mold when your ready to remove them but they look good and you need to cut them in the provided areas they turn out to be a little less than 4oz so why not make a mold to accommodate this issue? When you get a 4oz mold it would to get a 4oz bar

Good quality mold, not like the ones you would buy from chain hobby stores.
