Shaving SFIC (all natural) Glycerin Melt and Pour Soap Base

After reading the reviews I had very high expectations and I was really looking forward to using this soap. I am not as impressed as I thought I’d be. I do like it, I did add bentonite clay and used essential oils. I’m glad I made only one bar, as I’m going to have to experiment with it. It is possible I’ll purchase more, it has great potential.

I used this to make "ladies shave bars" and it was super easy. This is the firs time I had dealt with any soap and I am so glad I decided to take the plunge. It is easy to cut into cubes, melt on the dbl. broiler and pour into a mold. I added bentonite clay as your instruction on the blog and my soap bars are fantastic. I will be buying more of this.

This is the very first time I had made soap. I made 5 bars of "ladies shave bars" and it was much easier then I thought it would be. I cut 1 lb. of the shave soap into cubes, used a dbl. broiler method on my stove, waited for it to completely melt, then poured into my silicone mold. I let it sit for a good 5-6 hours before I pushed the soap out of the mold. It was very easy to do and clean up was a breeze. Much easier then I thought it would be. Thank you for caring this great soap, I will be buying more.

Love this soap base, I used it in making both my men and woman's shaving soaps! Love the creamy, silk feel it produces!

I made a shave bar with Bentonite and rose clay and added some Essential oils. Awesome!! Everyone loves it!!

I've tried a few before I found Bulks .
They Melt and pour feels great on the skin, lathers nicely and does not thicken quickly. No sulfates :)

I didn't expect this soap to be something I could wash my face with, and I certainly didn't expect that it would help with the redness of my skin. My face feels very soothed after I wash with this soap. I'd suggest adding some bentonite clay into the base, quite nice!

So I bought this stuff a few months ago and let me just say, that it is really amazing soap. I think it does keep up with most mid to high end shave soaps. Not thee greatest soap in the world, but amazing none the less. I add a few teaspoons of shea butter and bentonite clay, which makes for a great smooth shave that does not dry out my skin. I threw in a few drops of frankincense, cedarwood, and sweet orange oil, with a heavy dash of vanilla oil. Smells fantastic and stays with you for a decent amount of time. I use a double edge razor and prepare my lather in a hot bowl with a badger hair brush, this stuff creates a very rich and thick lather with hardly any effort. The razor goes over smooth and doesn't irritate my skin. I just make this for myself, so I'm not sure how others may like this, but i love it.

I've been using this base for over a year making my own shaving soap. It lathers up great and holds the moisture to the face. I add more bentonite clay than most recipes call for, but it makes for a much smoother shave that is just right for my oily skin. It works well with fragrances and essential oils.
