Our sea clay is useful on oily skin. It is thought to remove acne causing toxins from the skin and revitalize tired skin. This is the clay that is commonly used to make Sea Mud Masks. It is all natural and cosmetic grade with a particle size: 15 microns.
Sea Clay, also known as Dead Sea Clay, is a product that originates from The Dead Sea, located in Israel. It is the lowest place on Earth, and people would visit the area to bath within the waters. Those waters are known for the healing effects in the salt and mud. The product on the market has high levels of magnesium, potassium, sulfate and calcium, making it great for your skin.
Most Common Uses:
Most commonly, sea clay is used for skincare. Specifically, the creation of facial masks. It is also known to be effective in treating fibromyalgia. The uses are very similar to other living clays such as bentonite and kaolin.
A more detailed look at the uses:
Facial Mask- Applied directly to the face, the clay will absorb impurities and leave your skin feeling tight and clean.
Fibromyalgia- Consult with a physician before using for fibromyalgia. Alternative health practitioners use it to fibromyalgia.
Acne- Applied to acne infected areas will help treat and clean the area.
Sealant- Outdoor areas such as ponds, dams and ditches can be sealed using the product. It will prevent toxins and waste from dripping into the area being used.
Crayons- The clay is used in making crayons and binding the ingredients together to make a strong colorant.
Drilling- When mixed with other ingredients, the product is used in a drill string for the oil and gas drilling industry.
-As a face mask, massage gently into the skin, allow to dry and then rinse off with warm water.
-To treat acne, apply to the affected area and rinse after dried.
-For internal or ingested uses, please consult a physician or an alternative health practitioner.
As always, it is important to consult with your doctor before ingesting or using anything new. Make sure you don’t have any allergies to the product and that you are using natural or pure ingredients. Pregnant women should also consult with a physician before using.

I have been enjoying the quality of the products I have purchased from Bulk Apothecary. I am exploring making my own natural skin care product and this was my first time buying sea clay. This product is darker than shown in the picture. A greyish sagey green. I mixed some with a little water and applied it as a paste on my face. My skin felt and looked wonderful after the product dried and I washed it off. It really did a great job of removing oils without stripping my skin. The green color it turns when wet is a little scary but it doesn't turn your skin that color. I would recommend this product

Purchased Dead Sea Clay because my wife is crazy about anything from the Dead Sea. She used the Sea Clay the night I received it in the mail. I was setting here at my PC and wow her face was sea monster green. She told me it was very easy to mix but took more water than the instructions called for, which is no big deal. she also said this Sea Clay was easy to go on and cover her face. She said I sure hope my face doesn't stay green. I laughed and told her if it does, I'll put some one my face to match her. The wife left the mask on for about 20 minutes, plus she has sensitive skin but the Sea Clay had no irritation at all on her face. She rinsed it off and loved the way her face felt. Will be trying more of the Bulk Apothecary clays and oils out.
