Matte finish, pure in tone. Use by itself or to deepen the tone of other colors. This pigment powder color has been filtered of harmful impurities. When used in clear bases, the color will not remain transparent. A pastel color is produced in opaque (white) bases.

Good Charcoal coloring for Bath Bombs
Used 1/4 tsp for for a 2lb bath of bath bombs....makes a nice black coloring which turns a deep charcoal grey in the bath w/no residue. A little definitely goes a long way, sprinkle lightly.

Great - A little goes a long way
Like my other oxide reviews here these matte oxides are not only great, but such a small amount is needed to achieve the desired color. Since I more often than not use black as an accent color in my soaps a 2oz. bag should last quite some time. Great stuff.

A little goes a long way
I used this for CP soap and it took only a pea-sized scoop to turn my entire batch black. It is rich and effective. Pairs nicely with an anise EO in soaps.
