This oil is going to be used for the key note in a men's fragrance I am creating for myself. The spice accord I bought pre-made is way too sweet and spice bomb is too. So im making my own version of a spice based fragrance.
Allspice is the perfect key note because it is literally what smells like "all spice". It's good enough that it could be used by itself for this purpose, although I'll be adding several other spices to round it out.
This is allspice leaf oil, at first not what I thought I wanted, but over days of exploring it's nuances, I find I am very pleased with it. It's masculine, has a darkness to it that speaks to seriousness and is reminiscent of black pepper and a bit of Nutmeg to my nose. I could wear this by itself and have a nice fragrance, but it will be better with a little cinnamon leaf oil, coriander seed and so forth.
This scent reminds me of those scented pine cones that you find at Christmas time. I am using it to refresh some older pine cones I have instead of buying new ones.
I like this very much. The scent is strong and makes for a great manly scent.
