Pure Palo Santo Essential Oil
Botanical Name - Bursera Graveolens. Plant Part – Wood. Extraction Method - Steam Distilled. Country of Origin – Ecuador. Color - Yellow to light brown liquid. Consistency – Thin. Strength of Aroma – Strong. Aromatic Scent - Palo Santo Essential Oil has a fresh, intense woody aroma with a slight hint of citrus.
Description - The tree of Palo Santo is originally from the dry tropical forests on the coast of the South Pacific, Ecuador being the main country where this tree is found. The Palo Santo Oil is only concentrated and deposited in the interior of the tree trunk. It can takes up to 10 years to produce the oil and to get concentrated in their trunk. Only tree branches that fall naturally from the ground are used to make this oil. The average life of the tree of Palo Santo is between 80 and 90 years.
History - The natives in Ecuador have used it mainly to protect themselves from insects (mosquito) and also in ancestral rituals where shamans use this oil to clear bad energy from the bodies. They also used it as essential oil and to perfume their homes.
Cautions: Palo Santo Essential Oil is a dermal irritant. Avoid use if pregnant.

i have really enjoyed my palo santo......its a very different fragrance but i like it alot.....very woody. (which explains where it comes from...) it helps me with pain. sore muscles? i use it and it works great for me!

Aromatic Description Fits!
This a great woody scent with a hint of citrus. Some of the woody and/or spicy oils are a little to "warm" for me (give me a headache). This aroma is comforting, but not heavy or floral. Give it a try!

Seems like good quality
Ive never bought Palo Santo Oil before, so not sure what its supposed to smell like. But it has a pepperminty smell, pleasant and sweet. Order was shipped quickly.
