Won't buy anyplace else

Great Product
I purchased the 50 lb block of Palm Oil for my soapmaking business and I am very pleased with my purchase. It was packaged very well and added a great lather to my soaps. I highly recommend this product.

50 lb Block
I was extremely surprised that when I opened the box, the bag the oil was in wasn’t secured on top, just folded over. In hot weather, if there was any melting and if the shipper turned the box on it’s side, all the oils would have poured out and made a HUGE mess. Fortunately for me, none of the Palm oil melted and it came in perfect shape - nice and solid, and easy to cut like butter.
I looked at my past orders and determined that it usually takes 2 days for an order to be filled and 1 week for delivery from FedEx (partly because I live in the country). So on a Sunday I put in my order for a 50 lb Palm Cube, thinking it would be filled on Tuesday and I would get it the following Tuesday. Even if it came early, we were supposed to get a snow storm on Friday, with cool days on the following Monday & Tuesday.
The order was immediately filled Monday morning and scheduled for a Thursday delivery - unheard of...but still, delivery companies are known to be 1-2 days late out in the boonies. But my order arrived on Thursday - with a record-breaking temperature of 76 degrees that day!
I was so happy that the cube arrived in perfect condition, with no melting. -
Great Oil
Wonderful product. No complaints. Great price, packaging and shipping times. I did learn that palm oil should be heated to at least 156 degrees Fahrenheit before using in soap to avoid bit of stearic acid in your CP soaps. Especially as you get to the bottom of a large container of palm oil. I had a lot of bits of stearic acid showing up in a batch of soap I made with the last bits of this oil. It's just a cosmetic issue and the soap is great. But I learned that small lesson so I pass it on to any that read this review. 156 is the melting point of stearic acid which occurs naturally in palm oil and tends to settle on the bottom of the bucket. So, there you go...my free tip to you.

Optionally Best
Palm oil is a relatively inexpensive, healthy, over average high smoke alternative to the high cost of oils such as Avocado, Olive, Ghee and such oils. It also has an extremely clean taste when used for deep frying and the trees aren't harmed by harvesting the oil.

Purchased the 50lb block of Palm oil. Love it. Smooth and creamy, easy to remove the amount i need from the block. Highly recommend this one.
