Nice product but my tubes won't fit it so never got to use it.

I recently learned that the older versions of my bulk apothecary trays didn’t fit the lip balm tubes I had. I was forced to buy new trays to accommodate the change in lip balm tube size. These trays are of cheaper quality plastic than the older version- bend more easily. These are exact fill trays unlike the old ones I had. I do not prefer the exact duly with scraping the excess off because it’s a waste of the product I fill my tubes with. I was told that the tubes hold the same amount as my old tubes but they seem to fill up quicker and make the spill over onto the trays easier- losing more product. I wish they hadn’t changed supplies.

I had to buy the tray because the tubes from Bulk Apothecary did not fit the tray I had. Customer service was very accommodating about giving me a partial credit, so the cost wasn't so bad for an unexpected expense. It works beautifully except for the center hole. For some reason, it is shaped slightly differently than the others resulting in leakage. I have to clean the sides off the center tube and the tubes around it before I can label. When I spoke with customer service, I was told that they are aware of this issue but don't know why it's shaped like that.

Being a newbie, I was not sure what to buy or use. I ordered this lip balm filer tray tool and it was very helpful! Made the job a breeze!

I never even knew these trays were out there! Now I can make professional lip balms! Woo hop! We are in the business now!

This tray makes it so much easier when pouring the liquid balm into the tubes. Totally worth having.
