I wanted this for soap making. But it smells like medicine. So I would guess that This Frankincense is more for medicinal. After much research Carterii is the type I should use for soap making. So I was wrong to order this product.

Frankincense India Disgusting
This is the worst Frankincense I have ever been sold. Very poor quality. obviously been extracted with solvent and not steam distilled. It smells harshly of pungent bug spray. I cannot use this trash. Very disappointed that bulk apothecary would sell something this subpar.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I will be removing frankincense from all my formulations until Boswellii comes back down to a reasonable price .
