Fir Needle Soap - A must for your cabin
Have used fir needle oil in my pine soap for some time. I tried other kinds of pine that did not evoke the true smell of a tree in the woods. I use pine sawdust as an exfoliate. This one of six core soaps I make for the Longfellow Soap Company. I also use it in my molded pinecone soap at Christmas. Use 2 ounces in ten pound batch.

Smells really nice
I like the smell. It's very pleasant. Don't know about the medicinal values. I hope it works as claimed.

Wonderful scent
This is the first year I did an artificial tree (due to the cats loving the real ones too much!). But, I was missing the luscious scent of pine from the real tree. So, I put a few drops on a few boughs, and it gave the natural scent I so longed for!

Just what the doctor ordered
I have been waiting to receive this oil and now its here. This oil is considered to be an anti-arthritic and an analgesic. Lupus has caused pain and swelling in many of my joints and I will be using this in a pain relieving eo blend. Oh yes, the aroma...like walking through a fir forest in winter, so beautiful.

I love to mix this with cedar wood, rosemary and tea tree for a wonderful outdoorsy blend that smells clean and woodsy. We call it Wildwood and like the other reviewer stated, it is a good substitute for pine so your soap doesn't smell like pine scented cleaners.
