Standing Goat Soap Mold

Makes such cute soaps. Some tips if you want to do the goat a different color: make the goat batter first. One pound filled 5 molds with plenty left over. Blend only til emulsified (like 45 seconds), not to trace. Pour into a squeeze bottle with long narrow tip. Squeeze carefully into legs, ears, tail first, then fill body. Use a toothpick to drag soap into the hooves, teats, tail tip, ear tips. Finish filling body if needed. It’s helpful if one person can squeeze soap and another follows to toothpick the details. After the goats are done, set aside, and now mix up the background batter so the goat batter has time to set up a bit. Carefully pour in and level the background batter. After setting a few days, freeze for at least an hour before carefully pushing the soaps out.

This has held up great and makes pretty large, but comfortable soaps. I can make it two tone by putting goatsmilk in the goat alone, then fill the balance with colored soap with my additives. Everyone really loves this. Makes great gifts.
