Roasted Oatmeal Stout Fragrance Oil
Many people ask us what makes our oils so much different from the competition. The little known secret is that many large suppliers of fragrances dilute their oils with cheaper carriers to increase their profit margin. This is often done at the manufacturing level and allows some suppliers to sell their product at prices that are occasionally lower than our wholesale price. These elevated carrier levels drastically affect product quality and In many cases will force you to use as much as 5-10 times the fragrance oil that you would need with our top quality oils. Our Roasted Oatmeal Stout fragrance oil can typically scent much more product than any other supplier we’ve evaluated. That’s the Bulk Apothecary difference!

This FO smells pretty good, but not either like tobacco nor vanilla, really. It's a sort of mysterious sweet Autumn spice kind of scent presentee in a very smooth almost cologne-like way. It reminds me of the collective aroma in the air walking down an isle of Autumn themed candles, but again with a mild masculine twist. It's very pleasant, for sure, but haven't had anyone guess even close to its FO name, not even the vanilla part. If you're seeking something Autumn spice themed but that is smoother and creamier, almost kinda sexy, then I would recommend this one. I've been playing with it a bit in cologne blends, and in small amounts it plays nicely with other masculine notes. If you're into the more culinary take on vanilla, then maybe sample some other vanilla stuff, too.

This FO might get more customer attention and repeat purchases under a different name, maybe. I'm not picking up on the "stout" part at all and would have never been thinking anything remotely close to "beer" if it weren't for the name. However, what it does smell like to me is a very potent scent of oatmeal cookies fresh from the oven. It's a very rich and culinary sort of scent, for sure, and a bit warm and toasty. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a really good cookie scent. Not my sortof thing but I've got a couple major foodie people who I make stuff for and they're both very excited to get some votive candles with this FO. I just told them it was oatmeal cookie scent oil and they loved it.

I've been trying to come up with bath & body scents that appeal to men, and roasted oatmeal stout is a home run! I use it in homemade shaving cream. Every man I've given it to has gone wild about the fragrance. Can't wait to use it in lotion.

We use this in our "Jamaican Stout" and it is one of our fastest moving beer soaps. The description is right on. I think it would work well with any dark beer soap or even in a non-beer soap.

Soaped at room temperature with Guinness Extra Stout beer replacing the water. Soaped like a dream. No acceleration, no ricing. Darkens to a wonderful rich brown. The fragrance? I've asked to be embalmed in it. My all-time favorite of any f.o. Honestly, this was responsible for the best soap I've ever made, hands down.
