First time using leaf powder. I have had the processed
white powder before. I put some leaf powder in a quart
jar with 3 cups of water, and gave it a shake. Put in fridge for a day to transfer the sweetness to the water. If I add a spoon of the water to coffee it tastes sweet. There is a 'stevia' flavor with it but
I do not mind that at all.

Great product if you are avoiding regular sugar and great to use is you are on a candida free diet.

My package arrived quickly and I immediately brewed a nice strong cup of black tea into which I poured about an eigth of a teaspoon of the ground stevia leaf while the tea was steeping. The powder had an herbally odor which I was not expecting but not unpleasant. The powder floated briefly but then sank to the bottom of the cup as it became saturated with water. A few seconds of stirring with a spoon after removing the tea bag and a minute or so to allow the tea to cool to drinking temperature and I tried a sip to be rewarded with a very pleasant sweet taste which was to my taste. I don't know yet how many cups of tea or what other uses I'll find for it but this stevia powder satisfied my expectations for taste.

This is only the second leaf stevia I have tried and compared to the first it is too fine, too powdery.

My wife and I are very happy with the Stevia leaf powder. It is very strong, we use it with our dirty coffee(coffee and unsweetened cocoa) which is bitter. For myself 1/8 tsp takes the away the bitterness of 2 tbs of unsweetened cocoa. I was using 1 tbs of honey, so that is a 60 cal savings per coffee. If you are getting the after taste that is mentioned in the description of the product you might want to scale back.

I've tried several brands and I didn't like the aftertaste or the way it was made. This is healthier, additive free and tastes good. It doesn't dissolve as easily and can make me choke but I use less now and that hasn't been an issue.

I've been interested in stevia for a while, but had trouble finding an unrefined source without fillers. This is the pure product. It is easy to work with in baking. Just be aware of the "stevia aftertaste." Combining it with other flavors is the key. Research recipes and you will be on your way to delicious and healthy desserts.

I've been trying to reduce my sugar intake as much as possible, and refuse to eat or drink anything with artificial sweeteners. Now I can enjoy a delicious hot chocolate using only pure cacao and a quarter teaspoon of stevia leaf powder. Next I plan to try it for making some favorite desserts.
