Erythritol is a naturally-occurring sugar alcohol derived from a corn source and is naturally found in small amounts in various plants, fruits and fungi, including mushrooms. Excellent sweet taste.
There is no after taste what so ever. You do need to use quite a bit more to taste the sweet flavor of this product. I use only with my green chai tea as of now. I really love this product, just alittle pricey considering you have to use 3 times as much as organic natural cane sugar. thankyou for a wonderful product. I hope more people will become aware of this product. And make it more cost friendly.
