I tested the lotion base unscented, and doing a trial test on my hand, the lotion was smooth and dissolved quickly leaving my silk soft. I later tried it on a dry spot on my elbow and it moisturized my elbow really good and lasted all day. Can't wait to try it with some of my essential oils.

I love this lotion base! Just add your own favorite essential oil and you have a wonderful hand and body lotion. This Lotion goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly, leaving your skin softer than any OTC lotion I have ever used. This is my first attempt at making my own, and I am very happy with my choice. I also love that is is Organic, so I know I am using a pure product.

I know this is a lotion and I have used it without adding anything else, it goes on smooth and sinks in quickly. It's a little thin though and I worry about adding other items to it. Next time I will order the other lotion to see if it's any different.

This is a really great lotion base -- light and non-greasy. Great for a simple summer moisturizer.

This lotion is the best! It soaks in and you aren't left with that greasy feeling on your hands. And the price! I have definitely found my new favorite lotion!

I have recently been told I am allergic to fragrance. So, I went on a hunt for unscented products online. Bulk Apothecary was the first site I found and your products are awesome and inexpensive! I have to use the base products as is and they work beautifully. I can use the shampoo as my hand soap as well. I have to carry hand soap in my purse for obvious reasons. The products are so inexpensive I recommended them to my kids that live in expensive cities. They don't have allergies, but why not get products for less than $6!

I took a chance on this lotion. I wish I had bought a smaller container to test it first. It's way too thin for me as compared to the other lotion bases that come in a gallon jug which I am used to getting. This one doesn't go on my skin as smoothly and doesn't leave my skin feeling soft. To show a comparison of the consistencies: this lotion flows like warm syrup and I am used to using a base that flows like cold syrup. I plan to warm it up and add some beeswax to thicken it up a bit.

I love it that the ingredients are organic.

I have been using an organic lotion base for 12 years. Decided to try this one. It is a thinner base but is still a wonderful lotion. The price allows me to double the size for the same price as I was selling my previous lotion base. My customers love it. No complaints about the thinness. Customers love the fact that it is quickly absorbed.

I do love that it's 89% organic with simple ingredients and it's nice and mild for my sensitive skin. If only it was slightly thicker, I would have given it 5 stars. Like someone mentioned, it does leave white streaks when you first rub it in (reminds me of what sunscreen does), but it does absorb.
