I bought this cutting box to help with getting a consistent cut for my soaps which this box does help some but I think it needs something to keep the soap from sliding backwards as the soap is being cut. Usually I will use my hand to do this but it still slides backwards. Maybe something that would hold it in place better would work. Overall, it's much better than trying to do it free handed.
