Once natural luffa gourds have matured they are hand-picked and naturally dehydrated for almost 9 months. The inside of the luffa gourd is then processed and cleaned to be sold to the cosmetic industry. These pieces are cut down to be around 7/8 inch which is the perfect size for suspending 1 piece in a bar of soap.

7/8 round loofah
I had ordered these once before and they were all 7/8 inch think and pretty much all the same diameter, slight difference but nothing major.......with this order they are 7/8 inch thick but a lot of different diameters..most much bigger then I wanted.... not sure I will be able to use most of them the way I planned .

Nice Slices of Loofahs
These are nice large size loofah slices. I like the fact that they are already cut into perfect sizes to place into soap. The price is great too, so I always from them from this company.

Very satisfied
I am very satisfied with these loofahs, they are perfect for my soaps. I really like the fact that the color is more natural than some I've seen that seem to be bleached. There are some random seeds that have to be picked out, but I don't mind that. The only negative is that some are quite small. I will probably use the little ones for samples, or for kids. Overall, I would definitely order these again!

These were adequate
These were okay, but if you are producing soaps that you want to have a uniform piece of loofa in, you may want to pick up your own at a local store so you get the size and uniformity you are after.
