Once natural luffa gourds have matured they are hand-picked and naturally dehydrated for almost 9 months. The inside of the luffa gourd is then processed and cleaned to be sold to the cosmetic industry. These pieces are cut down to be around 7/8�� which is the perfect size for suspending 1 piece in a bar of soap.

Inconsistent size
It would of been nice to have all the same size in diameter. But they will still work for my starter project with my daughter

Inconsistent sizes
I ordered 12 pieces of loofah. Although each peice is 7/8 inch thick, they are all different diameters. Only 2 pieces were the same size. I was disappointed but I can work with it

Awesome Luffa
The luffa is well...luffa. But the people at Bulk Apothecary are great. Every time I've spoken to the on the phone or asked for something special the people there were very nice and did the best they could to do what I needed. The luffa is bright, cleaned fairly well and less expensive than some of the other distributors. Works great for my products and I'll be ordering hundreds more. Needs better description
When the product says 7/8 inch piecesanswer you receive pieces that are 2 to 4 inches across, it makes no sense.7/8 inchs to me means the length of the whole gourd piece. Other wise they are going to work fine,just feel they need better id!
