I am thrilled that I was able to obtain this granite mortar and pestle. It is of quality granite, solid weight, and the ability to grind my herbs quite well. VERY pleased!! It is the larger of the two being sold (I did purchase the smaller as well) and find it works quite well for the larger herbs.

This is a gorgeous addition to the kitchen that really does the job! It's truly meditative about grinding herbs the old fashioned way. Perfect for grinding rosemary from my garden for a country potato breakfast or French and Spanish lavendar for lavendar scrubs! Top quality product that also works like a charm for grinding my pet's medication in her food.

I love this product. It works great. I just don't know why I hadn't gotten one sooner. It came in a timely fashion too couldn't believe I got it so soon after I ordered it.
