    Awesome fragrance!

Posted by Mary Uzzell on 23rd Feb 2017

I'm fairly new to soaping and had never tired this fragrance before. I had been seeming a lot of wonderful comments about it and thought I would give it a try. I'm so very glad I did! The fragrance is fabulous! I just can't quit smelling my soapā˜ŗļø! Do keep in mind that it will discolor your soap, so plan your colorants accordingly.

This is a yummy fragrance. Reminds me of walking into an import store with candles, incense and essential oils for sale. Its the collective smell when you walk in and it smells so cool!

I had been reading a lot about how well liked Dragons Blood fragrance was, so I decided to try it. Yep, itā€™s as good as they say, and I canā€™t wait to use it. Next order will be in a larger quantity.

    Fantastic product

This was for my husband and he thinks (I do too!) That it is phenomenal! Being a fragrance oil it is different than what he expected, but is pleasantly surprised. The quality is great and the scent lasts all day!

CP SOAP lessons I learned with this AWESOME Fragrance.

Posted by Annamarie DeSantis on 7th Dec 2016

    Hello All,
I have now done 2 batches of CP Soap with the Dragon's Blood and also used the Alkanet Root purchased here as well (another excellent product).

    Batch 1 =
Goat Milk, 16 oz of Alkanet Root Infused OO, CO, Palm, Castor, 2oz DB Fragrance.

    Batch 2 =
Goat Milk, 6 oz of Alkanet Root Infused OO & 10 oz OO, CO, Palm, Castor, 2oz DB Fragrance.

Batch 1, WOW!! The color came out a deep deep purple nearly black looking color. The scent is out-of-this world and sold like crazy for me. Here was the really weird thing, I let the loaf sit overnight and the next evening went to do the cut, WOW, still really deep deep purple BUT where I cut, the inside was a deep Army GREEN!! Once I finished cutting the loaf and went to the kitchen about 5 minutes later came back... the bars turned deep purple again and the green part was now deep purple??? So, I took a bar and cut it again cause I know I seen green, sure enough there was about a rim of 1/8th inch all the way around the bar but inside was pure green! After about 5 minutes, the green was gone again and back to deep purple!! LOL!!

Batch 2. This time, I didn't want the color to turn out a deep deep purple (even though customers liked it). So, I used only 6oz of the Alkanet Root infused Olive Oil and 10oz of plain OO. This time it was a much lighter purple, softer even, so I added the Dragon's Blood Fragrance Oil and the batter turned that same deep army greenish color! I did pay more attention this time and noticed the oil is a dark brownish color when it comes out of the bottle so this is what turned the light purple into this greenish color. Still really COOL! I did check the loaf this morning before I left for work and it is still ALL army greenish looking... NO PURPLE! LOL! I went home and cut the loaf and sure enough, the inside is brownish with the greenish 1/8" rim around the entire bar... after 5 minutes the brownish colored turned the dark green!! LOL!! I think this is "Mood Soap".

This fragrance does cause your batch to trace immediately.

So just know, the fragrance is INTOXICATING but it will most likely change the color of your soap and it WILL BRING your batch to TRACE VERY VERY FAST!

    Captivating!

Posted by Annamarie DeSantis on 27th Nov 2016

Gosh, this scent is captivating, mesmerizing, alluring... Yes, I love it! I did make a batch of CP soap with it and it traced immediately upon adding so work fast because it was so thick at the end of pouring it into the mold, I had to use a spoon to scoop it in the mold and it just sat there in clumps on top! Even banging the mold didn't move it so I had to use a spoon to spread the remaining batch at the top. But 2 days later, it still smells great!
