Pure Pumice
Pumice is probably the single most popular exfoliant on the market today. It is also used in the manufacture of stone wash jeans, certain concrete, toothpaste and more. Pumice can be added to lotions, gels, soaps and more. It is actually volcanic ash which is formed from lava that is permeated with gas bubbles while it solidifies. Since lava has similar properties and chemical characteristics to glass, pumice is very abrasive. However, unlike glass, it is also very soft. Absolutely love this, have looked everywhere for ground pumice and found it here. I'm so happy I found it. I've used it in a soap I made for male friends and a scrub I made for a girl friend.

This was the first time for me using pumice. it was a nice consistent size "grain" but blended well. I liked the soap I made with it and am going to try some more

Perfect for bar soap
I wanted to make a exfoliating soap bar and this was absolutely perfect. I have used coffee, coconut shreds, tea, poppy seeds and pumice has been the best so far.

I never knew you could buy pumice in bulk. I took my toothbrush and lightly dipped it into some pumice in my hand, you probably wouldn't want to put a lot on it, then I brushed my teeth.In minutes they were super clean and shinny. I read about doing that from a dentists web page. Now I'm thinking about different things to add it too. Like soap. Looking forward to experimenting with it.

Perfect pumice
This is the perfect addition to my gardners scrub soap. It works well with the lemongrass oil and lavender to make a wonderful cleansing bar with enough scrub power to really clean up. The pumice is finely ground so is not scratchy.
