Used 36 pounds for 50 ppm (2.4/2.5 pounds for 10,000 gallons) is what they recommend I saw videos about adding boric acid to hold off algae and help hold the ph steady . Videos mentioned another company to get boric acid from but after reading some of their reviews about how they treat their customers I searched for a different vendor. First time dealing with boric acid but seems like high quality. Dissolved very easily. I brushed it once twice and it disappeared. Very happy with the product and the great customer service!

The product is well packaged and normally delivered in a few days. One thing to consider: The past few years, it's been powdered boric acid, looking like powdered sugar. This year it was granular, about like kosher salt. Either one works fine for my application, but if you require a specific form for your application you may want to ask before buying.
