    Old Time Barbershop

Posted by Chris Bryner on 3rd Mar 2022

I've smelled a lot of barbershop oils and most are just okay at best. So, when buying this one, I opted for the 1/2 ounce. Now, I wish I had bought more. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. This fragrance is hands down amazing. And it's so cheap. BULK APOTHECARY has yet to let me down. Thanks guys.

    Not the one!

I was hoping for the old Bay Rum fragrance with cinnamon, cloves over the top of the vanilla scent. The old Ogalala Bay Rum from the Dakota’s; haven’t been able to find it.

Got this one and one from another site to try/compare. This one is the best. So pleasing to me as a women of what I would like a man to smell like. Made soap and it was fabulous. I am ordering the 1lb bottle now, and can’t believe how inexpensive it is compared to other fragrances. So happy!

I use this for beard oil and balm. At first I was not sure if i liked this one because it has a really heavy vanilla aroma but after going back and smelling it again, i am getting the patchouli. Turns out i really like it. Would recommend.

    The Fragrance of Memories

Posted by Kathy on 4th Jul 2018

Everyone loves this fragrance. It reminds them of going to the barbershop with their fathers or it brings back memories of a loved one. Either way it's a great fragrance that behaves well in cold process.

I use this in hot process soap, and there is not one of my men clients that has ever declined this scent. It is a sure to please scent for every man. Even the name draws them in.

    Top 10 manly scents

Posted by Robin on 3rd Mar 2018

I love Bulk's fragrance oils but this one definitely tops my list. However, the baby powder is a bit overwhelming, and could be a bit less, but no doubt brings back memories of the old fashion barbers shops.
