Not for me
this fragrance oil behaves perfectly in cold process soap - no acceleration, no ricing, and so far no discoloration (though my batch has not finished curing yet so its a bit soon to tell). I had plenty of time to do a 4 color swirl pattern that turned out awesome. The scent is very strong & held up very well in CP soap. I am really not a fan of this fragrance though - it has a bit of a patchouli oil smell to me which is a scent I dont care for. Even blended with a really strong mandarin fragrance, this bay rum is still too overpowering for me.

Best Bay Rum around
I love this scent and so do my clients. Works beautifully in CP soap, no acceleration or discoloring. Used 2oz bottle in a 5lb bar and scent comes through nicely.

This is our go to Bay Rum Oil
We have been using this f/o since we started making men's grooming products in 2014. It is hands down our best seller.
Note to cold process soap makers, this does accelerate trace quickly. At least it does with our cp recipe. So much so that we have to work very quickly to get the batter in the molds FAST so that getting air bubbles out does not become an issue.
The scent stays true and lasts through the curing process.
It works exceptionally well in body sprays and roll on cologne. It is such a classic and masculine scent loved by many. -

Different but VERY NICE
This is a different smelling Bay Rum from what I'm used to. BUT it still smells amazing, even my 8 year old grandson when he smelled it he said "YUM" I'm having no problem with it selling out. I made hot process soap with it and no problems occurred.
