Uses for Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Eucalyptus essential oil is harvested from the leaf of the eucalyptus plant and is found all over the world. While its benefits have been known for hundreds of years, it wasn’t until recently that it began to be used commercially. It is a pale, yellow liquid that is used primarily as an antiseptic or fragrance, but is also has a range of other uses and is often useful for treating many common health ailments (most commonly, flu and cold symptoms, congestion, and as an anti-bacterial agent). It can be found in many hygiene, soaps and analgesic products, and it offers some very specific benefits.

Where to buy Eucalyptus Oil:

We have been told by many customers that we have the best price on wholesale eucalyptus oil. However, there are many places online that carry it. We do strongly recommend though that you find a good supplier and stick with them. There are many unscrupulous suppliers of wholesale essential oils that are selling inferior products. If you have any doubt, simply ask the supplier for a C of A (Certificate of Analysis) for the oil in question.

History:

Also known as ‘Eucalyptus globulus’, but variations include: eucalyptus radiate, eucalyptus citriodora and eucalyptus dives. The original eucalyptus tree was found in Australia and belonged to the Myrtacae family. The trees grow up to 480 feet tall in damp areas, typically in hillsides or valleys with deep soil.

Disclaimer:

The strong aroma and menthol content should be avoided during pregnancy. This oil should also NOT be taken orally as it can be toxic.

  3. Watch Out For Koalas!

Posted by Sam on 25th Jun 2015

This wonderful product has such a clean, fresh scent that I keep watching for Koalas at my door! It is remarkably effective. I had the opportunity to try it on some aches and pains after a couple days of weed pulling in one of the pastures. It worked well, but what I hadn't counted on was the side effect of a great night's sleep for both my husband and me! This was my first purchase from Bulk Apothecary, but it certainly won't be my last!

Thank you folks for not only such a wonderful quality product, but also for your very professional business ethic. Everything I ordered was well wrapped, beautifully labeled, and of the finest quality. Start to finish, the care with which my order was handled, the complete tracking, care in shipping, the standard of perfection is evident with this company. It's a real pleasure to deal with Bulk Apothecary.

  5. Convenient Larger Size

Posted by Unknown on 8th May 2015

I use the Globulus essential oils in my soaps and candles, and frequently use the 1 lb bottles up very quickly. Now Bulk Apothecary offers a 5 lbs bottle, which saves me money, and is easier to use than the 25 lbs bucket. Thanks Bulk Apothecary for adding this option!

  6. Eucalyptus Oil

I was only purchasing them to do a scent comparison between the Radiata, Lemon, and Globulus. Wasn't super crazy about the lemon but that's what comparisons are for! Always comes safely packaged and is a must have in my Essential Oils collection.
