What is it?
Peppermint Oil has been used for centuries in many ways that have benefitted mankind. Extensive research in recent years has only supported the time honored uses of peppermint and it is through its fantastic benefits that it has become an essential item for any health advocate. The historical uses and research done on the benefits of it all have come to the conclusion that peppermint is one of the most naturally beneficial plants in the world.
The history and uses of peppermint oil have been dated back to 1000 B.C in Egypt as well as ancient Asia. Early Egyptian, Chinese and Japanese cultures used peppermint plants and oils for their healing and restorative properties and in Greek mythology, it is said that the god Hades/Pluto transformed a nymph into the peppermint plant. I love this peppermint. I used it mixed with a carrier oil to massage on my upset stomach and it worked wonders. The smell is great my son use it for his sinus problems and the price can't be beat.

If you have a problem with spiders,put several drops of peppermint oil in a spray bottle with water and spray around your doors and sinks to repel spiders and keep them from coming into your house! They don't like peppermint!

I use the peppermint essential oil in hot process soap and it is a favorite. I combine it with one part rosemary e.o. and one-half part cedar wood e.o. and the soaps come out really wonderful smelling and refreshing.

With allergy season upon us I had to try this oil. It relieves sinus issues, smells wonderful, & has a cool tingling sensation on your pressure points!
