Not a very complex scent. Smells of artificial lemon (I say that because it does not have the zing or freshness that real lemon has), sugar, and vanilla. Performed and behaved well in CP but discolored my soap to tan/brown...similar shade as cardboard box. Soft and sweet, this is not my favorite lemon or citrus as i prefer my citrus scents to be more energizing, invigorating, and realistic. I'll use the rest of the bottle as diffuser oil or mix with laundry soap. I won't soap with it again.

I was a little worried that the Lemon Sugar Fragrance Oil would be reminiscent of furniture polish, but I was so wrong!! It has a lovely sweet lemon scent - not too heavy, but just right! I will add it to a combination of coconut and olive oils and use to moisturize all over.

This is great for body scrubs, a laundry freshener, performed great in CP, no acceleration but it did heat up in the mold. I put the loaves in the freezer to stop gel process but it still went through a gel in the center of the loaves but the perk with that is that it looks like a lemon drop or a sunrise. The center is a dark yellow, next ring was a bit lighter and the next lighter (about 4 rings from the center). I did make it a yogurt soap with micas for color (that may have helped accelerate the gel process). In the end, I love everything about this scent.

I used this in CP soap and it was great! No accelration or ricing and has kept it scent through curing! I love the strong lemon scent and the sweet sugar undertones to make this FO make me think of a lemon dessert! Awesome product!!!

Add this to your atomizer with a drop of vanilla and your house smells like Lemon Bread! So good that I ended up making actual lemon bread because we were craving it! Great job!

Have been looking for a lemon sugar fragrance for a long time, and was so happy to find this. It is the perfect blend of sweet and tart. I use it in body butter and bath bombs and our customers love it. Haven't tried it yet in soap.

I used this for a white sugar scrub and I literally had people fighting over who was going to buy the last one. Love love love!!! BUT.... despite folks saying it worked well with CP soap, I had a discoloring issue. It could be the oils I use. It was a lovely soap and I added poppy seeds but after a few days (and after slicing/exposure to air) it turned gray! I don't know how I will market a gray lemon soap but will do my best. The scent seems to have changed a bit too on the soap. So: 5 stars for scrubs... Iffy for soaps.

This is the fourth scent I've purchased from Bulk Apothecary for use in cold process soap, and I am pleased to report that it smells good, behaved nicely, and didn't discolor my soap. I used 2 ounces with about an ounce of lemon essential oil in a 3 pound batch (1200 g. oils) of soap, and so far so good.

It's a nice, sweet-smelling lemon which did not accelerate my soap (or cause it to rice, or discolor it, or seize in the bowl, all of which has happened with other BA scents) at all!
