Description: Litsea Cubeba is a small plant found in tropical areas. The leaves are typically a vibrant green with a pleasant, lemon like smell. It produces small, pepper-like fruits from which the essential oil is extracted.

Aromatic Scent: Litsea cubeba Essential Oil has a crisp, citrus smell. It has been compared to lemongrass and lemon verbena. It is considered sweeter and softer than lemongrass.

Wow, I hadn't used this oil before and I'm certainly a fan of it now. Wonderful fresh lemony fragrance without being tart or grassy. I paired it with the Cajeput EO, Geranium EO and a bit of Patchouli EO to create a nice fragrance for the fall for my body butters.

Intense, Clean, Sweet Citrus

I got this oil to get a citrus without the photosensitizing effects. It's intensely citrus, but without the bitter, rind-like edge that most citrus have. It reminds me of the sweet citrus like lemon verbena. I use this in a facial oil to mask the carrot seed oil smell, and it works very well!
