Cinnamon Bark Nature Identical Essential Oil has a middle note with a medium aroma, and has a warm, sweet and spicy scent reminiscent of cinnamon candies.
Nature Identical Essential Oils are blends of natural essential oils and synthetic aromatic compounds. They are great alternatives to pure essential oils for providing your cosmetics, soaps and candles with lovely scents identical to Nature’s - at a fraction of the cost! When compared to fragrant oils that are 100% synthetic, nature identical oils have fewer artificial compounds, and thus offer a superior fragrance.
Note: Nature Identical Essential Oils are not suited for aromatherapy and therapeutic applications.

I LOVE cinnamon everything. So it was a no brainer that I would test this oil sooner or later! I bought .5 oz of the Chinese steam distilled, and figured if the quality wasn't what I was hoping, I would use it in the lightbulb rings I still use in two of my rooms, or one of my diffusers. In other words, in my air freshening systems! LOL. I tested it in my Nebulizer and WHOA, I was seriously impressed. I worked for a spice company one summer in college, and there are two aromas that put me back on that factory floor, and they are cinnamon bark and black pepper. The smell in that small factory when they were grinding 1000 lbs of Ceylon cinnamon bark was heavenly! So I was very pleased that the Chinese oil gave off the same wonderful aroma as Ceylon! I can't wait to test the other Cinnamon oils, so will try a .5 oz of the French CO2 extracted today AND will get a 2 oz of the lower priced Chinese. That French oil will need to be SERIOUSLY impressive to lure me away from a lower cost/high quality oil I have found in the Chinese. I may never test the Ceylon, because if it is so much higher quality than the Chinese, I might need a bank loan to pay for all I would order!

I bought this oil because of it's ability to lower glucose levels because I tend to feel crummy if I eat too many sweets on an empty stomach, or just period. I'm not diabetic, but my dad and grandma were in their later years, so I have pretty much stopped eating sugar, but when I DO I want to have a blend of this and a carrier oil on hand to keep my blood glucose levels from spiking!
It's ALSO got many other therapeutic benefits, strongly antimicrobial for example. I haven't worked with it much yet, but did just put some on the soles of my feet, undiluted, just to see how "hot" an oil it is, (pretty hot, definitely needs a carrier oil! :-D) then ate a snack of Graham crackers and cottage cheese, some of the oil was still under my nails and got on my tongue and I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet it was just to lick straight of my nail! It doesn't SMELL so sweet, it doesn't smell badly, but not sweet or strongly cinnamon either.
I'll be back to increase my rating to five stars if it keeps me from being so uncomfortable when I DO indulge. In the meantime this will be another way to satisfy my cravings without sugar!

This is a very pleasant, extremely potent essential oil. It worked great in my CP soap, and also beeswax candles and requires a smaller amount than other Essential oils.

I recommend this basic massage oil. Cost efficient as well as good quality. Have order before and will again.

I put 4-6 drops of Cinnamon Bark oil in tea every morning. It is sweet & tastes like cinnamon. My long term coughing is nearly gone. I used oregano oil under my tongue before but it didn't help like this does.
