Begin by pouring the sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil over the sugar. Make sure the sugar is in a large enough bowl for blending all of the ingredients together. Drizzle in the Vitamin E Oil. Since I was photographing each step of this recipe, I prepped my ingredients in separate bowls. If you?re just making this recipe at home, I wouldn?t place the vitamin e in a separate dish first. It?s very sticky and you?ll lose some of the oil when it sticks to the prep dish. Just drizzle it directly from the bottle to be sure you don?t waste any!
Blend all the ingredients together. Be sure to scoop from the bottom and sides of the bowl to be sure no dry sugar is left.

Add in the orange essential oil. You could also use a citrusy fragrance oil if you want to try a different blend. Stir well to evenly distribute the oil throughout the mixture.

Here comes the fun part!
Using sparkly gold mica powder, I added a fun holiday twist. You can sprinkle just a tiny bit into your mixture for a subtle shimmer, or you can use more for a sparkly impact perfect for the all of the upcoming festivities!

Carefully scoop the finished mixture into lidded jars. I used mini heremes jars- they?re my favorite! I think anything looks adorable packaged in them! I finished each with a brown Kraft paper label for gifting giving and I think the recipients will love them!
To use, gently massage over damp skin and rinse with warm water. After rinsing, lightly dab the skin with a towel and massage the oils into the skin.

  1. Did u print out the labels on ur home computer ?
And to ask does it not make sense to order the salt scrub if I’m using sugar?

    1. The labels can be printed on your home printer, and it’s best that you stick to the recipe, if you’re using sugar.

    1. You can surely use this recipe, but we recommend consulting a health care professional to ensure that you do not have any sensitivity to the ingredients, as everyone’s skin tolerance level is different.

  2. Your website is incredible and I can’t wait to get started. The only thing holding me back now, is no space and currently, low funds.
    But, I will be back.
