This summery scrub is sure to add a splash of color to your daily routine!

With Dead Sea salts to exfoliate away dry summer skin and grapeseed oil to replenish lost moisture, you’ll be feeling soft and smooth all over after just one use.

The Caribbean Escape fragrance oil will have you dreaming of a tropical escape- it’s definitely one of my summer favorites (sometimes I just open the lid to smell the scrub because it smells SO good!)

Grab your supplies and let?s make some scrub!

For this recipe, you’ll need:

1 cup Dead Sea Salt

1/2 cup Grapeseed Oil

2 teaspoons Caribbean Escape Fragrance Oil

Matte Teal Oxide Pigment Powder

I started this recipe off by coloring the salt. You can do this the other way around (oil and then color) but by doing it this way I can tell if I’ve coated all of the salts evenly. Just add a little bit of the pigment powder (you can always add more) and stir with a spoon, turning the salts to be sure every bit is covered in color.

Isn’t it pretty?

I kept the pigment light because as soon as the oil is added to the mix the color will appear darker. You can adjust the color to your preference.

Next, stir in the grapeseed oil and mix well, coating all of the dry salt.

Now add the fragrance and blend with your spoon.

A beautifully colored, tropically scented scrub that will leave your skin begging for more.

It comes together in minutes and couldn’t be easier.

I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Does this need a preservative? if so, which is best? I have liquid germall plus on hand would that work? I plan on giving this as a gift and know my boyfriend will take it into the shower, which will cause it to get water into the product.

    1. Hi Joyce! Sorry we do not, but you are free to add it to any of our scrub ingredients and let us know how it goes.

      Happy Creating!
