Pineapple Shave Cream Recipe

Pineapple Shave Cream Recipe

Hi Bulkers!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I love to experiment and try new recipes and products. I absolutely love coconut oil and use it daily. I use it plain and in many of my recipes. I asked my friends what are their favorite uses for coconut oil and boy did I get a lot of wonderful responses. My favorite one was shaving in the shower. Coconut oil shave cream is now my new favorite in shower shaving lotion. When rinsed off, your skin feels silly smooth.

Currently, I’m loving the smell of Pineapple Vanilla Fragrance Oil. My kids think it smells like bubble gum. I decided to use the oil in my coconut shaving cream recipe, but you can substitute for your favorite fragrance or essential oil. This pineapple scene is perfect for summer! Makes me want to go on vacation. :) Anyway, in lieu of vacation, I’ll be using this delicious smelling fragrance in this easy 3-ingredient recipe.

Ingredients:

  1. One jar of Coconut Oil (76 degrees)
  2. Clear Jojoba Oil
  3. Pineapple Vanilla Fragrance Oil
  4. Four plastic jars with lids

Step 1:
Add entire jar of coconut oil into a mixing bowl. If your coconut oil is completely solid, microwave for 20-30 seconds to soften. Do not completely melt. (If it happens to melt quickly, you’ll just have to wait until it solidifies) Using a mixer, beat on high until fluffs appear. Add 1/2 teaspoon of jojoba oil. ( adding too much will make the cream mixture oily) Then add the pineapple vanilla fragrance oil. You only need 10-15 drops or shakes. Continue mixing for 15 seconds. The mixture will be nice and fluffy.

Step 2:
Spoon mixture into 4 plastic jars or a large mason jar. Store in cool, dark place. Use in shower or can also be used as a lotion. The possibilities for coconut oil are endless. Your skin will feel wonderful either way! Enjoy and have a great day :)

    1. For best use we recommend 3-4 weeks; while vitamin e can help extend the shelf life, we recommend using Liquid Germal Plus since may be exposed to a oil in water/water in oil scenario. Hope this helps!

  1. hi could you please tell me what size clear plastic jars, and what size black lid you used ?
    thanks mary :)
