2nd Place In Our Recipe Contest- Sore Muscle Rub

This recipe was sent in by Shanicia Boswell and won 2nd place in our 2015 Recipe Contest.

Yields 1 jar.

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Coconut Oil

1/2 Cup Shea Butter

1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper

1 Tbsp Ginger Root

1/2 Tbsp Turmeric

1 Tbsp Valerian Root

20-30 Drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil

 

Directions:

In a double broiler melt down shea butter and coconut oil.

Allow oils to cool (about 10 minutes).

Stir in cayenne, turmeric, valerian and ginger root.

Add in essential oil.

Place in freezer for 20 minutes.

Take from freezer and mix your rub until it has a whipped like consistency.

Enjoy!

  1. I have to make this one!! Sounds wonderful! I do make a pain relief spray using your essential oils and your menthol crystals… it puts Icy Hot to shame!! I love your products!!

      1. could you tell what oils would be good for circulation problems in the legs. I have PAD,I am doing flexiology and a going to start acupuncture. I would like to get the circulation going instead of going through them cleaning the arteries out again.

  2. I have terrible insomnia. I’ve that by using was essential oils you Might be able to get relief and sleep all night long. This is terribly affecting my life!
