This recipe was sent in by Deb Walters and won 1st place in our Recipe Contest.
2 oz. Cocoa Butter
1 oz. Shea Butter
1 1/4 cups Baking Soda (aka Sodium Bicarbonate)
3/4 cup Citric Acid
5 TBSP Cocoa Powder
1 oz. Essential Oil
Rubber Gloves, disposable
Mask (if you are sensitive to airborne powders)
Large Mixing Bowl
Ice Cream Scoop
Melt butters and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, gently sift together dry ingredients (including the cocoa).
Add essential oils of your choice to melted butters.
Add melted butters to powdered mixture and mix well.
Working quickly, scoop mixture with ice cream scoop and place on parchment.
Let dry until firm.
