Did you spend your holiday season living out of a suitcase, hopping from plane to train to taxi, Yes? No? Well, if you were one of the few that stayed at home and had travelers come to you lucky you! This time of year many of us find ourselves on the go making all the rounds to see all of our family and friends. Even if you’re not jumping on a jet to make a visit, time in a car can be just as taxing.

Long trips, stale air, and stress can leave your skin looking and feeling anything but fresh. While you may not have time to do a complete overhaul of your makeup in between flights, you can take along this refreshing facial mist that will perk up even the dullest of skin. With essential oils that tighten and revive and properties that reduce puffiness and the appearance of dark circles- you’ll be on your way to the next destination with a dewy, fresh face.

You”ll need:

1 tbsp. Rose Essential Oil

1 tbsp. Vitamin E Oil

1/4 cup Purified Water

2 oz. Bottle

Black Fine Mist Sprayers

How to use:

Using a 2 oz. travel-sized spray bottle, mix all the ingredients in and shake it up. Keep in your purse for easy access and sprits the mist over your face as needed.

  1. I’ve tried something similar and water does not mix well with the oils. This also makes the formula look unclean. is there anything else we can add to change this? Also wouldn’t we need some preservative since water is involved?

    1. The facial mist recipe is designed to be used as natural as possible, since the face is a very sensitive area; the Vitamin E Oil acts as a natural shelf life extender. If you’d like to further extend the shelf life, you can add Liquid Germal Plus or Optiphen Plus (Paraben and Formaldehyde Free). If you’d like the oil and water to mix completely, you can try an emulsifier such as Polysorbate 20 (Tween 20). Please ensure that you test the formulation, after these are added, for skin sensitivity.
