For Real.

5 minutes. That’s it.

You’ve got 5 minutes somewhere in your day so why not make yourself something nice?!

4 ingredients. 5 minutes. Let’s do this!

You’ll need:

1 teaspoon Beeswax Pellets

2 teaspoons Coconut Oil

1 teaspoon Honey

1/8 teaspoon Vitamin E Oil

Lip Balm Jar

Using a microwave-safe bowl, add all of the ingredients together.

You’ll probably need to scrape the honey out to be sure all of the good stuff goes in the mixture!

Now it’s time to melt it all together.

My mixture took about 45 seconds in the microwave. Once everything is melted stir it really well to be sure everything comes together.

Carefully pour the lip balm mixture into the jar. I could have filled two of these jars if I didn’t fill the first one all the way to the brim, but I only needed one little pot today so I filled one jar to the top and just scrapped the remaining mixture.

You’re done! See, 5 minutes (if that). It really couldn’t be easier to make your own nourishing lip balm. I left mine with the soft honey flavor and scent, but you could always add a little flavor oil to this recipe to make it your own.

Your lips will definitely enjoy this one!

  1. I would like to use this recipe for a tube instead of a tin. Is this recipe enough to fill a tube? Is it recommended?

  2. I’m going to try theses lip balm recipes soon to go with my homemade candles I make . I wanted to know if you had any other lip balm recipes you could add .?

  3. I would melt the contents in a small glass bowl by putting the glass bowl in the pot of boiling water, especially if you don’t want to put contents in the microwave.

  4. I warmed up the honey separately from the other mixture, and then added it once they were both warm, then warmed them together again, and they mixed perfectly!

  5. Could you please post this recipe in a larger amount for 100 lip balms in 1/2 containers? Thank you so much.

    1. Hi Maggie!

This recipe will make one 0.25 oz lip balm container; therefore, you can can multiply the ingredients used by 100 then by .25 oz to get 100 0.5 oz containers.

      Happy Creating!

  6. Can I use a different oil other than vitamin e oil. I have Sweet Almond Oil and apricot oil. I didn’t want to buy another one if I could use one of these.

    1. Hi, I sorry to learn of this. We recommend that you keep stirring the mixture to prevent this from occurring.

      Hope this helps!
