Renewing Skin Serum Recipe

So, I’m SURE everyone’s heard of Argan Oil. It’s packed into just about every hair product on the market nowadays (and for good reason). Just as coconut oil made a name for itself by being a cure-all for just about everything- Argan Oil just may be the new super oil on the block.

Containing numerous benefits (from hair to skin to anti-aging) and boasting a 100 percent organic source of vitamin E and essential fatty acids, it’s a miracle ingredient that not only protects and nourishes skin, but can REVERSE environmental damage, wrinkles and premature aging. Say what?!

It’s excellent for dry, sensitive skin and acts as a natural anti-inflammatory (both internally and externally). It’s also hailed as the “it” product for preventing and diminishing stretch mark. It’s safe to say that I’ll be adding this to just about every beauty product in my regimen.

Maybe I’ll just bathe in it?

This recipe is for a serum that can be used in place of, or in addition to your daily moisturizer. Along with the benefits of argan oil, carrot seed oil is high in carotenes which can enhance the appearance of aging skin by stimulating cell growth and removing toxins. Chamomile essential oil soothes skin irritations and neroli essential oil diminishes the appearance oil scars and acne spots. When used daily, your skin will be looking amazing in no time!

Stir the oils together to be sure the blend is even. If you’re storing this on your counter top or near sunlight, use a dark amber colored bottle. If you only have a clear bottle, be sure to store it under your sink away from light to preserve the essential oils in the mixture.

To use: Massage a small amount (5-10 drops or so) over the face and neck daily.

ENJOY!

    1. Hi Amparo! We actually do not have a magazine; however, if you click the name of the ingredient, in the “Here’s what you’ll need:” section, you will be directed to where more information can be found.

      Happy Bulking!

  1. Vitamin C is another compound that I mix with vegtable glycerine and distilled water(I use to buy it at 100.00 a 1 ounce bottle)and then was told it has a short shelf life (maybe 3 weeks). Is there a shelf life to this Argon oil and I wonder if I can add Vit C to this.

      1. Just a comment & suggestion about the Vit C. Everything I’ve read said it begins to break down & loose its potency as soon as the citric acid/Vit C is mixed with any liquid. Also, it is highly unstable. My suggestion is to make this serum adding the the C, but in a smaller quantity. From my research the C shelf life is about 3 weeks. If there is a preservative that keeps the strength longer I have not found it yet. But I would prefer no preservatives if I can help it.

  2. I have read there are better sources of vit c such as camu camu that are more potent and are viable for longer periods of shelf life time. Is this true, would mixing some goji berries help to extend the Vit c effectiveness? Or maybe some Moringa leaves? Can moringa be heated to retain its Vit c?

  3. Do you have any of this recipe available for sale? It sounds interesting but I’d sure like to try it befor investing in all of these ingredients.

  4. Thank you I’m so excited to try this serum I have used it 3 days in a row and I was using it morning and nite can’t wait to see the results after time.

  5. I would like very much to try this serum. My wrinkles are calling out to me to concoct it ASAP! I make a fennel toner/refresher upper made from raw fennel bulbs. It is wonderful! Fennel is super high in Vitamin C. I also like to add a drop of fennel oil in my raw fennel exfoliator. If permissible, I’d love to share the recipe with anyone interested!

    1. Hi Laura,

I would love to try your Fennel toner, I use the herbs to cook chicken and meat, my favorite herbs. Thanks

  6. Could this serum be used in your Unscented Premium Hand & Body Lotion Base? If so, what would be a good ratio to create the consistency used in, say a pump action type of body lotion?

    Thx, Cheri

    1. Cheri,

Yes this is good to incorporate in a Unscented Premium Hand & Body Lotion base. Try starting off with 2 tbsp. per 3-5 lbs of the base.

      Hope this helps!

  7. Hey, I have started my massaging therapy and I want to use this skin serum but my question is that while massaging also I can apply this? I have my massage therapy with cellublue. You have a look and please let me know that I can have this along with that or not?

  8. What is the best thing to use for scars after surgery. I have scars from hip to hip and underarm to underarm from breast cancer surgery (Sept 23).
